Equity.me terms and calculation limits

Equity.me is provided by Wayfaring B.V. to organise proposed asset divisions and calculate selected scenarios. It does not provide an appraisal or legal, tax or regulated financial advice. These terms cover the public calculators, sample dossier and paid dossier service described below.

Using your Equity.me dossier

Service provider and correspondence

Equity.me is operated by Wayfaring B.V., Eenhoornstraat 5, 2271 GL Voorburg, Netherlands. Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) registration: 89696441.

Correspondence about these terms can be sent to help@equity.me or to this address, marked “Equity.me”.

Figures and calculation methods

Participants are responsible for checking inputs and selecting the assumptions. Contribution credits are amounts they choose to recognise; Equity.me does not verify their origin or determine a reimbursement right.

A blocked return-first calculation means the equity cannot cover the credits entered. Borrowing estimates do not establish mortgage eligibility. Valuation, tax treatment and legal entitlements need separate assessment.

Participant confirmations and exported reports

Confirmations record acceptance of a particular proposal in the application. Their legal effect depends on the applicable law and circumstances; the product does not certify it. Reports do not transfer ownership or release a borrower.

Use independent accounts. A professional can help organise the dossier but cannot confirm for either partner. Downloaded reports are snapshots and will not update with the shared record.

Shared access and data

Enter only information you are entitled to share and invite the intended participants. The dossier creator can delete the dossier, so keep any exports you need. Do not bypass access controls, inspect other users’ records or disrupt the service.

The privacy policy explains the current handling of shared records, private notes and deletion. It also describes service emails and the current limits of verifying hosting-provider backup deletion.

Payment, access and refunds

A shared consumer dossier costs $39 before starting. This includes both partners, PDF and CSV reports, and 12 months of access from payment. The creator can extend the same dossier for another 12 months at $39 before it expires. An extension begins at the existing expiry date. There is no subscription or automatic charge.

Without an extension, access ends and the dossier is deleted from active application storage after expiry. Download the reports you want to keep before then. A pending extension payment is checked before deletion. Separate billing records and anonymous research totals are not part of the dossier.

Request a full refund within 14 days of a payment by emailing help@equity.me from your checkout email, with the payment reference. Refunds go to the original payment method. Refunding the first payment ends paid access. Refunding an extension restores the earlier expiry date, which may already have passed. This policy does not limit mandatory consumer rights. Use the support contact details for billing or download help.

Mandatory rights and later changes

Nothing in these terms is intended to exclude rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. The company’s address does not determine the law governing your property settlement.

The public calculators and sample dossier do not enrol you in a paid service. The amount and access period are shown before you continue to Stripe. A manually recorded cost is not a payment receipt.
