Review client asset division in a shared dossier
Create the dossier and invite each client
Choose the professional role when creating a dossier. Add the clients’ names and currency, then create a separate invitation link for each partner’s email address. Each client creates their own account and confirms their email address.
Send each participant an email invitation from the dossier. The link works only for the invited address, expires after seven days and can be revoked before acceptance. You can also copy or share it directly.
Review the figures and propose arrangements
Use the household asset inventory for belongings and the financial section for home equity and accounts, investments and debts. Each record keeps its estimates, proposal and shared discussion together.
You can add information and suggest a division. Only the partner roles can confirm their own decisions. The proposal and confirmation process explains when a record enters the financial balance.
The dossier overview shows agreement progress. Shared activity is available in dossier settings, with the full retained history paginated rather than limited to recent actions.
Export the file for your next client meeting
The PDF records participants, the selected split, financial balance, individual entries and shared comments. Unresolved items remain identified. Clients’ private notes are excluded from your view and from shared exports.
The export does not verify ownership, certify a valuation or replace your professional work. Its date identifies the version you reviewed; download a fresh copy after further changes.
Before the meeting, check the dates on valuations and statements. Mark the records that still need evidence or a decision. Use the report to work through those points. It does not replace court forms or local disclosure requirements.
Professional access and pricing
Professional pricing is separate from the consumer dossier fee and has not been finalised. Contact help@equity.me about professional access before purchasing a consumer dossier. The Equity.me property settlement platform introduces the client workflow.
Professional dossier access questions
Can I manage several client dossiers?
Yes. Your workspace lists the dossiers you have created or joined, with agreement progress for each.
Can I confirm a proposal if a client authorises me?
The professional role cannot submit a partner confirmation. Each partner must use their own account.
Can clients see my private notes?
No. A private note is visible only to its author. Use a shared comment for information all dossier participants should read.
What happens if an invitation expires?
Create a new invitation for the intended email address. The expired link cannot be used to join.
Can I download the records as a spreadsheet?
The Report tab offers CSV export of shared item records. Use the PDF for the selected overall split and calculated financial balance.
